To prepare your skin and achieve optimal results, pause your active skincare for 1 week prior. This is your Retinols/Vitamin A’s, AHAs/BHAs (glycolic, lactic, salicylic acid), physical exfoliants/scrubs, prescriptions resurfacing products.
1-2 weeks prior avoid any cosmetic treatments (lip fillers, botox etc.)
Sunburns, active cold sores, open lesions, broken skin, inflamed acne make this treatment not suitable for your skin in that moment and is best to wait until all is healed.
-
Following the treatment, do not overly touch your face, try to avoid it the best you can.
For the first 24-48 hours avoid direct sun exposure and tanning, saunas, steam rooms, excessive heat, intense exercise, harsh physical exfoliants, heavy makeup.
For the next week avoid Retinol/Vitamin A, resurfacing products, AHAs/BHAs
It is recommended to wear SPF daily, use hydrating, barrier-supportive products, maintain hydration internally and topically, avoid picking and rubbing the face for the best results.
-
It is recommended to do this treatment at least once a month.
